When you use the Contact form on this website, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and your message. Name, email address, and message are required to send the form; business name and phone number are optional.

The form includes a hidden field used to help filter automated spam. Our hosting provider may also apply its own spam filtering to form submissions.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, discuss the services that may be useful to your business, prepare and deliver services you request, and communicate with you about your inquiry or engagement. We do not sell the information you provide.

If you contact us, we may reply by email or, if you provide a phone number, by phone. Communications are related to your inquiry or to services you have requested. If you would prefer not to receive further communication from us, let us know through the Contact page.

Third-party service providers

We rely on a limited number of third-party providers to operate this website and our services:

• Netlify hosts this website and receives and stores Contact form submissions. Submission notifications may be delivered to our business email account.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on this website. When a page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google, which receives standard technical information such as your IP address.
• Stripe processes payments for services offered with online checkout (see below).

Each provider handles information according to its own privacy policy.

Stripe-hosted payment processing

When you select an Order Now button, you are taken to a checkout page hosted by Stripe. Payment information you enter there is collected and processed by Stripe, not by this website, and LAKIA does not receive or store your full card number. Stripe may share order details with us, such as your name, email address, and purchase information, so that we can provide the service you ordered. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

External links, including Gumroad

Our Resources page links to an independently published digital resource sold through Gumroad. That resource is not a LAKIA product or service. If you follow that link, you leave this website, and any information you provide to Gumroad or the publisher is governed by their policies, not this one. LAKIA does not receive your purchase or payment information from Gumroad.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies, and it does not include third-party analytics or tracking scripts. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to deliver and secure the site, and may provide us with aggregated traffic statistics that do not identify individual visitors. Stripe and Gumroad may use cookies on their own pages after you follow a link to them.

Information retention

We keep inquiry and service information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, provide services you request, maintain business records, and meet any legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete it.

Privacy inquiries and deletion requests

To ask a question about this policy, request a copy of information you have provided, or ask us to delete your information, please use our Contact page, select “Other / Not Sure Yet,” and describe your request. We will respond to your request, subject to any information we must keep for legal or record-keeping purposes.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS, so information submitted through the Contact form is encrypted in transit. Access to form submissions is restricted to authorized individuals and service providers who need the information to operate the website or respond to inquiries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect the information you share with us.
